Curators, artists, and arts professionals gather for a landmark series of conversations during Spring Art Week
Dialogues, presented by Northern Trust, brings together curators, artists, and arts professionals for a series of panel discussions, forums, and artistic discourse on the themes defining contemporary culture.
Highlights include a reflection on the legacy of Alma Thomas featuring artists Lindsay Adams and Amanda Williams alongside curator Danny Dunson; a conversation with Nick Cave, Kahil El'Zabar, and Javier E. Otero exploring sound and ritual; and sessions spotlighting Focus artists LaKela Brown, Faye HeavyShield, Demond Melancon, and Helina Metaferia.
A cultural leadership panel brings together Dr. Louise Bernard, Sandra Jackson-Dumont, Kim Sajet, and Franklin Sirmans for a high-level conversation on the field's future. Additional programming includes a panel on Korean art presented in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago, and the ninth annual Art Critics Forum, featuring leading voices from Frieze and Vanity Fair.
