DECADENCE DEUX | A RETURN TO RICHNESS

French artist Frank Schroeder's work will be included in Decadence Deux at Bridgeport Art Center opening September 19th.

This fall, Pigment International joins September Gray Fine Art for Decadence Deux, the highly anticipated second iteration of Decadence of Another Kind, opening at the Bridgeport Art Center.

On view from September 19 through November 6, the exhibition brings together an intergenerational and international group of artists whose work moves across memory, migration, family, identity and resilience. Through abstraction, figuration and material experimentation, the exhibition considers decadence not as excess, but as abundance: the richness of lived experience, cultural inheritance and imagination.



Pigment International is proud to partner with September Gray Fine Art on an exhibition that expands the conversation around contemporary Black artistic practice while bringing compelling work and diverse perspectives to one of Chicago’s most vibrant creative communities.

The opening reception takes place during Bridgeport Art Center’s Third Friday Open Studios, offering audiences an opportunity to experience Decadence Deux alongside the energy of one of Chicago’s most dynamic arts destinations.
