Spring Art Week Chicago 2026: A Roundup We go deeper on specifics in later issues — this week, let the photos do the talking.

Dilla the historian’s oft quoted phrase is “everything dope comes from Chicago".  Well, this weekend art dopeness was center stage both originating in Chicago or traveling the world to get here.  The prevailing feeling throughout the weekend was community.  Whether during opening nights at the city fairs, at the museums, art centers, civic clubs, and frame shops, at restaurants and vintage shops or in some art-filled homes.  We heard it mentioned so many times.  Community is something we crave most when we’re being buffeted from the outside as we are now. Pigment was founded on that principle and we are glad to be park of this city's community.
