Decadence Deux is open. September Gray Fine Art, in partnership with Pigment International, launched the second chapter of Decadence of Another Kind at the Bridgeport Art Center during the building’s Third Friday Open Studios.

The exhibition brings together an intergenerational and international group of artists whose work moves across memory, migration, family, identity and resilience. Through abstraction, figuration and material experimentation, it asks visitors to reconsider a loaded word. Here, decadence is not excess. It is abundance: the richness of lived experience, cultural inheritance and imagination.

For Pigment International, the partnership expands the conversation around contemporary Black artistic practice and places it within one of Chicago’s most vibrant creative communities. Decadence Deux remains on view through November 6.
