SCULPTOR SONJA HENDERSON'S POETIC MESSAGE TO 2026.

Henderson is an award-winning, Chicago-based sculptor, educator, and community organizer. She is part of the group exhibition The Fierce Urgency of Now, opening Monday, January 19th at IManifest Studio Gallery, 2755 W. 63rd St., Chicago.

We are the people in, “We the People”.

“We Are the People” who opened our shores 250 years ago, with palms up and no weapons of mass destruction. 

We are the ancient and the continuum, the ancestor and the womb. 

"We Are the People" who time-travel through sound, whose dreams are portals, and who manifest through frequencies. 

We are the divine architects of space and time, the creators of form and formlessness, light seekers, and healers. 

"We Are the People" and the alchemist with intuition and intention, stillness and breadth. 

"We Are The People" who hold the multiverse within us, and birth more than just nations. 

We are the Beginning and End.
